mix vinegar and water.ammonia and water...make sure you have proper ventilation with ammonia. Also my mother cleaned her windows long ago with white kerosene and newspaper and sometimes just vinegar and newspapers and she always got compliments on how clean her windows looked and shined!
Dish soap such as Dawn mixed with water. Use a squeegee and paper towels. Works wonders!
Use vinegar and water, and clean with newspaper. The newsprint takes the streaks off glass.
Years ago I had an office building that needed the windows cleaned. One of my employees said the best cleaning method was vinegar and newspaper. This is an old cleaning method that works great! My windows sparkled and the cost was next to nothing.
I personally use a solution I make at home. a couple drops og Dawn dish soap and a couple capful of Awesome cleaner in a gallon of warm water. It will clean your windows so clean you wont be able to tell they are there.
vinegar and water in a spray bottle...
equal parts vinegar and water and wipe it off with newspaper for a streak free shine.
Vinegar and water...best in the world, will get anything off. Just mix water with some vinegar--the more vinegar you use, the stronger it is. This is also great for cleaning hardwood flooring.
Use equal amounts of vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Then wipe with newspaper.
It's not just vinegar and water anymore. Add to the vinegar and water combination in equal proportions, clear amonia, and generic rubbing alcohol. This would make four equal parts of each. The glass/windows become really squeaky clean and resist humidity fog in a bathroom. Use a spray bottle and cotton cloths for wiping. Cotton cloths are available through a catalog cleaning company and worth the money, and you can wash them and re-use them endlessly. Paper towels are not good for window cleaning. The leave a residue. If cotton cloths aren't available, use the newspaper. Don't use the slick paper, use the print paper.
These all sound good. My personal choice is 1 cup rubbing alcohol, 1 cup water, and 1 tbsp. white vinegar. Mix and spray.
yes, you can use vinegar and windex. do, they windex with the vinegar already in it. another thing when you clean your windows do not use clothe material use newspaper works very well.
I use to clean for the military when the families moved out of housing. We used vinegar and water. Its just like Windex but it's cheeper to buy. You can also use newspapers instead of paper towels. They cost less and leave less streaks.
