When things get spilt on suede it soaks staight into the leather as the surface is very porous. Once things are in leather it is imposssible to extract them out so they become permanent.
Use a nubuck cloth or napping brush to remove anything left on the surface and always use a suede protector like waterstop to help keep it clean.
