Add a capful of Bleach to the wash.
That sucks! Febreze that stuff..over and over again
Do what my folks did...throw them away.
the detergent that you use must be cheap or unscented, no offense. You should buy better, scented, detergent, name brand too
pet store- a bottle of simple solution can be used in laundry or carpet or ??
It's a shame that it is an every day occurance, but in this case, get a 5 gallon bucket with a lid. Fill it with a gallon or so of water and put in a full cap full of DREFT detergent. (For babies!!) It's got enzymes in it that get rid of ANY baby stains and odors. Food, formula, breast milk and yes, big and little people turds. After emptying contents of said garment in toilet, let the garments soak over night in the detergent and water. The enzymes will eat away at the stain and also take out the smell. You might want to swish the garment around in the water a bit before putting it in the washer to make sure no "solids" go in with it. If the garment is still stained, try soaking it again. This also works on baby clothes stained with baby carrots! (an impossible stain).
There's a product called Nature's Miracle for pets that works great on all organic stains and odors. It works great on clothing, carpet, etc.
Its an enzyme so it works best if its used before detergents or bleach. Rinse the clothing first with plain water, then spray on Nature's Miracle and let it air dry.
You can then wash the item with your regular wash.
I would suggest you deal with the problem at the source. You and the little boy need a nice happy talk. If he is having control problems, perhaps he needs to see a doctor. Otherwise let him know you will have to put him in diapers to protect from all the germs. Keep a close eye on him and get him trained and in a pleasant happy way. Perhaps he comes from a very stressful home, but you need to let him know that he is safe with you and does not need to be afraid. Let him know you will not be angry when he has an accident, but you will reward him when he does it right. If he can go for a few days without messing his pants... then you can remove the diapers and praise him. He needs love and assurance.not fear anger and frustration. Fix the boy and you won't have to fix the clothes.
