Stain on Furniture...Help!...
Question:My friend has a cream/white soft leather sofa.Cleverly, she has managed to get bluey black permanent hair dye over a small part of this.Please could anybody advise on ways to remove the stain.It happened yesterday(4th July)

You need a product called Maxi Cleaner to try to remove the dye from the leather. If this does not work then you will need to contact a leather technician as anything stronger you use will damage the finish.

At any home repair/hadware store...such as home depot or lowes, they have leather furniture cleaner and stain remover. If that does not remove the whole stain...they also have a leather paint. I my self have a white leather couch and my daughter got black hair dye on it also. And that is what I did. The leather cleaner cleaned about 80% of the stain...faded it alot.but i could still see it...i tried the leather furniture paint/dye...now you cant even tell! Good Luck!
