Does anyone know the best way to store duck feather & goose down quilts & pillows?

Question:I don't think you can vacuum pack them.

Answers:
No plastic! Either leave them on a bed or pack them in a wood chest lined with a blanket. Fold them oddly (not in halves until it gets to the right size) and take it out every so often and shake it out and refold it a different way.

leave it on your bed
Best way to store down items is to hang them 'loose' and not crush them. Get a big plastic bag that will allow the quilt to 'breathe' and expand, and don't put anything on top of it.
Do NOT store in plastic! You will only be inviting mold and mildew as plastic attracts moisture.

The best way to store them is to hang them in a closet. You can cover them with a sheet, if necessary.
you don't want them to get damp because they smell and go mouldy, could try putting them in the top of the airing cupboard
buy a clear plastic storage bag, the one you can suck the air out of with a hoover, this will keep pillows etc in good condition and taking the air out saves a lot of space.
