Here's a great and very inexpensive way to remove red beverage stains! Saturate it with regular hydrogen peroxide and let set 15 minutes then blot up. Repeat if necessary. Even works on old stains!
I just gave this advice earlier today and here's what happened:

Often, good old fashioned water can re-hydrate the stain to help with removal. Large spills can be cleaned up with a wet dry vac or a steam cleaner. Dry as thoroughly as possible.
Detergent solution: A detergent solution can be made of hand soap or dish soap. The combination is one quarter of a teaspoon of detergent to one quart of water. Make sure the soap does not contain bleach or lanolin.
Blot the stain with white paper towels to remove as much of the solution as possible.
Apply detergent solution from a spray bottle.
Rub the area.
Blot out the stain and detergent.
Use a steam cleaning machine to pick up large amounts of spill
There is this great product called "spot shot". It is actually for pet stains but it works well for everything that I have ever tried it on. (available at target, walmart, and most grocery stores). One day my cat dumped a 60 ounce cherry lime-aide on my brand new white carpet.and the spot shot took it right out.
That company should pay me for advertising.I tell EVERYONE about this product. I LOVE IT!! Good luck!
