How do I get urine out of hard wood floors?
Question:We moved into a house where the previous owner had a dog that would mark his territory in the same spot ALL of the time. The wood smells and so does the rest of the house. HELP!
Answers:
Fabric Softener - works a treat!
You may have to refinish the floor, and have it sealed.
Wash with phenol and then dettol.Open all the windows and doors and allow air to flow through out the house. After that use some room freshener. it will become OK.
My wife would make me tear out the whole floor and replace it.
If its pet urine...haha..good luck.
try using peroxide and then clean off with water and then clean with white vinerger, that should do the trick
Try a product called "Anti Icky-Poo" I have heard great things about this product on a local radio show.
