How to avoid taking roaches with you to your new place?
Question:I have roaches in my clean apartment! Any tips on how to avoid taking them with you when moving? I have a computer do you think they will hide in there?

Just hire an exterminator to treat your apartment for roaches. But choose an exterminator that uses gel to treat for roaches. You really need to treat for Roaches once per month. You will need to treat two or three time. The gel lasts longer. The reason you need to treat two or three times is to kill any baby roaches that can emerge even if the adults are dead.
All the roaches should be dead by then.
If you are moving then have your new place treated with gel too. That way any roaches you bring with you will die off.

This is a tough one. Yes, roaches will hide in your computer, tv, radios, etc..anywhere they can find a dark space. They will hide in furniture, book bindings, clothes, paper bags, cereal boxes, etc..
The only way to avoid moving them with you would be to fumigate your current apartment, wash all of your clothing, towels, sheets, etc.. and store them in the big, zip lock plastic bags, spray the insides of some more bags and place items like books, smaller appliances, ie: clocks, radios, etc... in them, to kill any remaining bugs.
Even after all of these precautions, you still may take some with you and you must be diligent in your killing routine.
I know it sounds like a daunting task but, it is possible to rid your belongings of these creatures. Good luck to you.
Roaches love paper bags and cardboard boxes. If you have any, get rid of them.
