Can anyone please help?

Question:i have recently bought my son a very expensive top and he has got bolognese sauce down it, trying to get it out with stain remover but its still their..any ideas of something good to use xxx i have boil washed it aswell but that hasnt worked.

Answers:
Do not wash and dry first...sometimes that "sets" the stain. Depending on the specific fabric, and if it is a colored fabric, plain, cold water to soak in, then place laundry detergent directly on the stain, letting sit, then rubbing gently with a washcloth or toothbrush. Repeat until the stain is mostly gone, then place detergent on again and launder in cold water. Repeat as necessary. Most bolognese has some oil in it, so that is a big culprit!

You must be careful not to discolor the item, though, so try a test spot on an inconspicuous corner if you can, before you start.

Have you tried vanish power, this product has a good write up! But boil wash would not be your answer, as the intensity of the heat could shrink a garment.
I just had this problem with my twins white top.
I always dab stain with stain remover and wash in machine on hot then the best way is to hang the item out to dry facing the sunshine. Dont know what it is about the sun and air but it makes the stain dissappear. Also worked on curry stain x
If you boiled it, you probably set the stain in permanently. Try Zout stain remover.
oxyclean is brill just let it do its stuff - soak top in it for a bit then put a scoop in wash
STAIN SOLUTION
Gooey grease 1) Scrape off excess solids with butter knife.
Gravy, butter, salad dressing, olive oil, vegetable oils 2) Place stain face-down on plain white paper towel. Replace paper towels as needed.
3) Squeeze small amount of dishwashing liquid on underside of stain to break up grease.
4) Wait at least 1 minute for detergent to break up grease.
5) Pretreat stain again with detergent.
6) Launder garment in warmest water safe for fabric.
Tough tannins 1) First, even if you can't launder immediately, blot stain with cold water or rinse under cold water.
Fruit juice, wine, tomato sauce, soft drinks, coffee, ketchup 2) Then, for red wine or grape juice spills, sprinkle with salt to absorb excess liquid, then soak in cold water. Spritz tomato-sauce smears with club soda to counteract the tomato's acidity and loosen up the stain before pretreating.
3) Launder in warmest water safe for fabric, using color-safe bleach.
Problem proteins 1) Soak garment in warm water with an enzyme-containing laundry detergent for 30 minutes (longer if the stain is dry). For a fresh blood stain, soak garment in cold water. (Hot water sets blood.)
Dairy products, eggs, grass, blood, urine 2) Launder as usual.
Chewing gum 1) Rub problem area with ice to harden the gum, then use dull knife to scrape off gum.
2) Saturate what remains with prewash stain remover.
3) Rinse and launder as usual.
Ink 1) Hold fabric's stained area tight over mouth of jar or glass. Pour rubbing alcohol very slowly through stained area. The mark will fade as liquid drips into container.
2) Rinse thoroughly and launder as usual.
Mustard 1) Treat garment with prewash stain remover.
2) Launder with chlorine bleach if safe for fabric; if not, use colorsafe bleach.
Nail polish 1) Blot nail-polish remover (acetone) on stain.
2) Mix 1 tsp. mild, pH-balanced laundry detergent with 1 cup (8 fl oz/250 ml) lukewarm water. Blot mixture on garment, then sponge with clean water.
3) Launder as usual.
Chocolate and candy 1) Rub a little dishwashing liquid into stained area.
2) Use liquid chlorine bleach or color-safe bleach for laundering.
Makeup 1) Dampen stained area. Rub enzyme-containing laundry detergent directly on discolored area.
2) Launder in hottest water safe for garment.
Deodorant stains See How to Get Rid of Deodorant Stains.
Warning Always read and follow the fabric care label.
Test your stain solution on an inconspicuous area of the fabric.
Don't combine ammonia and bleach: Deadly fumes may result.
Hope that helps!
try putting napisan on the stain, and adding a little water to it to make a paste and rub it into the stain..

Shout spray, you can get in most supermarkets and try on a 90 degree wash. O r maybe dry cleaners would be safer.
Soak in cold water, add a small amount of your own dish washing soap, rub in with your finger tips, leave for a few min“s then wash in a low or cold water setting. it should come out this way
