Getting it off is the easy part, But 100 % it leave a dull stain, so to remove this stain , this what to do. Whisk 1 egg white, lay over the stain and leave for 10 min´s , then wash on a normal wash . this will remove the mark chewing gum always leaves be-hind. It´s not a joke it works

People have always told me that putting ice on the gum will make it cold and brittle, therefore making it easy to remove the gum. I have had no luck with that. However, there is a product called Goo Gone that will work on clothing. Read the directions, and hopefully the product will do it's job!
depends on the clothing type - is the gum mushed/ground in or sitting on top? I have had luck with tossing the item in the freezer or putting an ice cube on top break the gum off or scrap off with a butter knife. Also have tried and had some success with this: pull off as much of the gum as you possibly can - use some peanut butter to loosen up more and continue to pull it off then rub the area with a pre-treatment enzyme product and launder as usual.
I have heard of using warm vinegar before too but not experienced with this.

get it good and frozen and then begin to scrape the gum off with your fingernails. If it starts to get soft refreeze again and begin flaking again...repeat until all gone.

1. freeze for 1 hr or so until it becomes hard then break off the bits
2.holding a bag of ice cubes over the gum will harden it uickly
3.hand cleaners available from hardware sops can be rubbed in until the gum dissolves
