How do you get ink out of a washed white shirt?
Question:I just noticed after a load of wash that a pen was left in the washer leaving my nice white polo with ink spots. Now it was washed and will air dry. Any possible solution?

Hairspray and denatured alcohol both works. I was successful in removing black ink from my white cotton shirt using hairspray. Read the article below for some tips in removing ink stain. Hope this helps!
Saturate the stains with hairspray and re-wash.

Hairspray is the best solution for ballpoint ink stains. I am not sure about other types of inks. I would suggest if this is not a ball point ink, to type in your search engine... "Hints from Heloise" then search for your problem. If Heloise doesn't know...then try the hairspray. I would not dry it in the dryer until I am sure all stains are gone.
hair spary works pretty good for ink stains, and oxi clean would work pretty good too
