Has anyone tried SUN detergent?
Question:well don't because it sucks
here is a letter I sent to the company:
I am writing to inform you that I will no longer be a consumer of your product, SUN detergent. Recently when I purchased one of your large containers (with the pour spout) I was frustrated to find that the area around the spout leaks detergent. Not wanting to waste, I thought that I would keep it on my floor with the spout area up (prohibiting the detergent to come into contact with the area that is not sealed properly). Well since then, your product has left bleach marks on my carpet. Keep in mind that I do not use bleach on any of my laundry as I express my next complaint. Then after using your product for a month, I would randomly notice little bleach stains on some of my clothes. Just thinking it a casualty of my situation, I let it go for two more months. But unfortunately last night, your product left a bleach mark on one of my favorite shirts. Your detergent has ruined and cost me over $100 in clothing

I tried the powdered form of Sun a while back and wasn't impressed at all. It didn't leave bleach spots on anything, but it didn't clean our clothes as well as I'm used to. I stick to Tide or Arm & Hammer.
thanks for sharing. i'm a Tide user myself. i highly recommend it.
I am not a big fan of Sun soap, I like to use Arm and Hammer Brand!
Really? I'm concerned, because I just bought a 33-load container of liquid Sun with Bleach Alternative! I needed detergent really fast, and instead of going to Wal-Mart or a grocery store and grabbing Era or Gain, I just ran by the dollar store and grabbed some Sun. I read on a website of reviews that most people who used Sun were really pleased with it; the few that weren't pleased had developed allergic reactions.
I haven't noticed any problems yet with my Sun, but I will keep that in mind next time I buy detergent!
