Don't smoke in the first place - it's a dirty habit!
...from a reformed smoker...
rub your hands in crushed onions and/or garlic
dont smoke! it's gross, i wouldnt want to be getting jiggy with a man if he smelt like f4gs errrrrrr!
easy, don't smoke!
Purell hand sanitizer or one of the scented ones from Bath and Body works. Um, also you could try to stop smoking. Anything that makes your skin smell that bad can't be good for inside your body either.
Vinegar is the only thing with which I've ever been sucessful at removing the cigarette smell. And that was using it to steam clean sofas and putting out a bowl of it out in a room to get rid of it in the air. You can try soaking them in vinegar for a while, then wash really good with soap and water. I can't guarantee results, but if I were a betting woman I'd bet on it given my previous experience!
um... wash them
you can't.
you can wash your hands with a strong scented soap but it will still smell like cigs.
but it will eventually dissipate.
you can always quit smoking. your question was one of the reason i quit by the way.
wash your hands after every smoke or if your not worried you'll look like a gurlie carry a mini pack of lemon zest wet wipes in you pocket available in boots or any chemist.
Impossible as it seems, these things are amazingly effective. I've not used mine for cigarette smells, but if you wash with it thoroughly fish, garlic and onions all succumb.
rinse your hand with vinegar
Unfortunately soap and water will not eliminate the smell of cigarettes from your hands...especially to a non-smoker. A non-smoker can smell it on your clothes and hair...even if you showered and shampooed and donned clean clothes before you left home.
I would try first giving myself a good manicure...clean out from under the nails very good and buff the yellow color from the top. Then I would soak my fingers/hands in a warm soapy water solution for about 10 min. Then rinse with clear water. Soak again for about 10 min. in a solution of lemon juice and water... More lemon juice than water preferably. Buff again. Repeat this daily until you are comfortable that your hands smell clean, then wash regularly (especially after having a smoke). Repeat the soaking/buffing/lemonjuice/buf... at least two or three times a week.
If you are a female, try putting a clear coat of nail polish on your nails after cleaning and do this every day or two.
Best of all would be to quit smoking, but I won't go there. Good luck!
