Whats the best way to clean glass?

Question:

Answers:
You will think I'm crazy, but I used to manage 50 apartments and cleaned them when tenants vacated. I cleaned the windows with a 3 gallon bucket of water and 1 capful of Woolite and about 1/2 cup of ammonia. Dry them with cheap paper towels (less cloth fibers) and I swear, it looks as if there is no glass in the windows. I have been washing windows this way for 35 years. If the windows are very dirty, use 2 caps of Woolite.

scrunched up newspaper and white vinegar
Windex with vinegar or a mixture of vinegar and water. Trust me, streak free!
vinegar and paper for a smear free finish
vinegar and water mixture and newspaper for wiping.
everyone is saying the same, so i have to agree that white vinegar is the best you can get, but to ge tthat extra bit of shine, after buffing up with the vinegar go over it with Windowlean clear spray, this stuff is amazing...trust me, half my house has glass things in, i wouldn'y use anything else.
Windex works great. You have to wipe in a circular motions..
My old boss used to make us wash the windows with a vineger water mix 1/3 vin to 2/3 water. i thought i wasn't as good as strekless windex, but she swears by it.
Vinegar and water and scrunched up newspaper is the best glass cleaner ever. It also works for cleaning your chrome water faucets. Gives them a beautiful shine!
