Is there any way to bleach stained bras?

Question:I have some bras that are older and a little stained. I tried putting some bleach in with my Woolite when I hand-washed them, but it didn't help. Is there any way to remove old stains from bras? I can't put them in the washer.

Answers:
Soak them in cold water, rub them with the good old fashioned soap bar, soap. ( Natural Soap ). Leave them free from water for 1/2 hr , with the soap still on, rinse well . Now hang them outside in the sun. any remaining stains left after washing them this way, will be bleach out the natural way . By the sun.

im curious to how you got stains on your bra!
what stain ? ;)
Well no one will see it. Or will they?
Pour bleach all over them?
Try using a cup of vinegar or 1 cup of baking soda, hang them out to dry.
The best thing I used is OxyClean. Take a bucket and fill with hot water and mix the OxyClean until dissolved. Put the bras in and soak for a couple of hours or until the stains are out. Air dry after rinsing in cold water. DO NOT DRY IN A DRYER. Stains set once you to that. Bleach didn't work for me, either. You can also put some garments in the sun and naturally bleach out a stain. Once you get the bras the way you want them, hand wash in cold water with baby shampoo and air dry.
hey there, when that happens to my i get a little bucket and put the bra (or whatever has a stain) in the bucket and i use this bathroom cleaner called "The Works" and i fill the bucket until it is just under the level what whatever is in the bucket then i use cold water and fill it up to about an inch over whatever is in there and i let is soak for a while.like 30 minutes or longer..
and mix i around of course.
that gets my stains out.and if you try this i hope it works.and since you hand wash them, use extra soap, cuz the cleaner stinks.so i hope i helped you out.

good luck.

o u can get it at wal*mart or the dollar store.any where basically.
Don't use bleach it will damage the elastic in the bras. Instead get a bottle of lemon juice. Wet the bras in a mix of 50/50 lemon juice and water. Then hang them on a clothsline in sunlight. (hopefully you have a private backyard!) The sun and lemon juice will return any white cotton back to lovely pure white again. After a day in sunlight bring them back in and wash and dry as normal. If they are very far gone this may take two sessions. DO NOT wear until after you wash the lemonjuice out. Also if you need to do an addition sunlight treatment you do not need to wash in between. . I use this for my cotton chemises and it works wonders.
