How do i get battery acid off without damaging my digital camera?

Question:i just got a digital camera and it has battery acid on the battery contacts. how do clean it off so it will work without damaging the camera?

Try using a regular pencil eraser. Just make sure you have something available to keep the bits that come off the eraser from getting inside the camera like a small vacuum cleaner attachment. Take your time and do a little bit at a time.
