I accidentally got white out on my mouse pad i cant get it out can someone help me out?

use dw-40 on it and let it sit for a few minutes then try lifting off the white out and then wipe everything off
Is this the kind of white-out that has a nasty solvent in it? If so, it may have partially dissolved the mouse pad if the surface is plastic.
