Servis easi logic 1600, need info, not working...?

Question:i have a servis easi logic 1600 washing machine. it went bang this afternoon whilst in middle of a wash. Fuse blown.

have changed fuse, and LED shows all settings etc (wash, spin minutes etc) working, but when you push start, nothing is happening including door locking (which used to happen). what has blown, and what would it take to replace?

is it worth fixing, or buying a new machine (strapped for cash at mo).

any info would be great

thanks for answering

Answers:
sorry sithy sounds like you need a new machine, when what you describe has happened it is usually the motor that has burnt out and when that happens it normally takes out the circuit board.not worth repairing.

turn it off ,let it re set, it cost about $65 a hour for a tec .
it could be ,the little switch o n the door whe n you close it . you can test it by swiching it on hold down the switch .
other than that.get a free quote of an repair job .could be more than one fuse gone bad
hi do you have a reset button somewhere on the machine possibly at the back
more than likely the door catch easy to replace and not to expansive just make sure the powers off and you put the wires in correct order
maybe you should trip your breaker??
