Answers:
Easy Way to Remove Mold and Mildew

If you live in a humid climate, you have to deal with mold and mildew growing everywhere. Although you can buy products, there is a product in your home that will do just as good of a job...maybe even better. Here's how:

Steps

1. Get an old empty spray bottle.
2. Place 1/2 cup of bleach or vinegar in the bottle.
3. Now add 2 cups of water.
4. Cover any areas that you don't want bleach spots on with newspaper or plastic.
5. Spray the area you want to remove the mold and mildew.
6. Go away for 15 minutes. Check when you return to see if it is completely gone. If not, wait another 15 minutes. Do this until all the mold is gone.

Tips

* Using vinegar instead of bleach will kill the mold and is much better for the environment and you. You can use vinegar at higher strengths than bleach because it won't give you headaches or kill you, your children, or your pets.
* This will work with fabrics too! Simply fill a sink or bucket with water and add 1 cup of bleach. Let the item soak for up to 1 hour.
* If the mold or mildew is stubborn, you can add another 1/2 cup of bleach or vinegar to your mixture.
* You can also spray the tile and mold with Shout. Let it sit until it wipes off easily with a towel or rag, and rinse with water.
* In Hawaii, there are serious mold problems and most people use JoMax and Bleach to wash their houses, driveways, etc.

Warnings

* Make sure you cover any items you do not want bleach stains on

Bleach is your friend.
Bleach is a good killer for mold. Treat it a few times over the course of a few weeks to be sure you killed it.
Just be sure to ventilate the room! Bleach is a good germ killer but it can hurt your lungs too.
Bleach. But before you do, take pictures and show it to your landlord. The landlord should have taken care of making the apartment livable before you came.
Spray any Clorox cleaner over it... let it sit a minuite... scrub it really hard with a rag/brush/sponge... WEAR GLOVES, molds nasty! Try not to gag :)
BLEACH!
Lime-Away is also good for mold. I once had a job cleaning up after college kids moved out of apartments/rental houses, and that's what we used. You should tell your landlord about this. That should have been taken care of before you moved in.
The vinegar and water solution is a good one, just make sure you use plain white vinegar and not wine or cider vinegar.
Don't get me wrong the regular bleach from the stores will work after a couple of times, but if you go to a home improvement store such as home depot or Lowe's they sell a contractors bleach it is made to clean up and get rid of mold and lots more. It is stronger then regular bleach and works much better. I know from actual mold experiences
