How to clean/sterilize stainless steel cookware?

Question:I understand stainless steel cookware is very easy to clean and you shouldnt use bleach, so how do you clean it?

Is it as simple as put water and boil the water like you would sterilize something for 10 minutes?
Or is there something different.

I have 5 pots that were left by a bad house sitter that have been dirty for about 3 weeks now.

Try this website. I don't know of any reason you can't use bleach on stainless steel. But maybe there's something I don't know. I've had it for years and have used about everything on it. However, I have found that things like SOS pads scratch it. I use a green scrub pad if they need real scrubbing. Maybe this website can give you a better answer. Good luck!

I would use dawn dish soap. It works for alot of things. But I have used bleach and then washed & rinsed my utensils real well. The bleach didn't hurt a thing.
i just know when u stain it use coca cola boil it and its good has new
