Can cabbage patch type dolls be washed in a washing machine or do i have to wash them by hand?

I would go with washing it by hand, in a basin filled with warm water and probably just some dishwashing soap. Massage all the doll's limbs to work the soap in and then thoroughly rinse--squeezing out all the soap etc. Sometimes you have to actually wring the limbs to get it all out. Then make sure you thoroughly dry the doll. Again wring out all excess water and then leave the doll in the sun to dry. This is how i've done it in the past. We had a very unfortunate experience putting a cabbage patch doll through the wash (the head completely caved in and the eyes washed off!)
by hand...unless the face of the doll is made out of material.if it is then i dont see why not
I agree with happytwenty. That is the way I have always washed my cabbage patch dolls. :)
