Organize my closet?!?
Question:i wanna organize my closet and put my clothes in there. rite now my clothes are inside my dresser, but i want a change. its not a walk in closet, so i dont have a lotta room, but i wanna put like shelves in there or sumthing. after i put my clothes inside my closet, what shud i do with all the empty space in my dresser? i already have a separate little dresser thing to put socks and underwear in, so what shud i do with the dresser? and tips to organize my closet plz?? thnks in advance. :P love always, emily

This is what I do:
Hang all pants on bottom, start from the left to right, skirts, dress pants, jeans, capris
Top, hang all your tops, start left to right, jackets, long sleeve, short sleeve, tanks and tube
Leave all your shorts and jamies in your dresser.

I have two old book cases inside my closet. They organize various things. I've had a dresser in my closet for the same purpose.
Once you've put in shelves into your closet, I'd suggest buying a bunch of wicker baskets, the rectangular ones work well to organize belts, jewellery, shoes etc. As for the dresser, you can use the extra space for your cd's, photos, work books, pencil crayons, books and craft stuff, seperate them into sections, piece of wood to divide or buy some plastic containers to fit them into the drawers. Have fun in your new room!
for starters, hang your t-shirts starting from sleevless to full sleves..then hang all your formal shirts..if ur from a cold place, replace the space for short sleeves and sleevless tops with jackets..hang your jeans and rousers as well..
then add hooks inside your cupbaoard for your belts and scarves..the tops with big necks and easily strethcable fabric can find room on your shelf and can be arranged according to their colour so u dont have to rummage through all your piles to look for them..the shelves can hold your party clothes, tops that u dont wear that frequently etc...
the dresser drawer can hold your night clothes..

If the dresser is empty, I am sure you can put CD's in it or DVD's. Magazines need a place or use it to store your collection of stuff you can't find a good place for. Out of sight, but still within reach.
