Quick question?
Question:i had stains on my shirt, so i sprayed oxyclean stain remover on it..and it said to rub it in so i rubbed in it with my finger. after, i only like quickly rinsed my hands and wiped then dry. then right after i licked frosting off my finger.. is there any way that i could be affected from that? like the bottle said medical attention is needed immediatly after swalowing...im jw if like a little bit could still be harmful. thanks

oxyclean has some components of oxalic acid .
But it is not so strong.
Don't worry, take little of baking soda that would do it.
call the poison control center it should be in the phone book where it says 911, or just call the operater dial "0" and ask them dont trust FindHomeAnswers with ur life ~!~

I wouldn't worry about it. And even if you hadn't rinsed your hands, there probably would not be enough residue on your hands to cause any problems.
Swallowing would mean a noticable amount of the product.
even that quick rinse should have removed almost all of it. I think you are going to be fine. If your really worried about it call the 1800 number for the poision controll hot line and ask.
I'm pretty sure the amount of frosting you had on your hand has covered up the already diluted chemical(rinsing your hands) on your hand that would be harmful to you. Your fine!
ok,,, u said u hav licked the chemical.. most of these washing chemicals are very harmful to the clothes itself.. u better take care of ur self. go and check your self wit a doc.
