Removing stain on baking tray?

Question:I've left a baking tray in the oven by accident (there was nothing in it) and the oven was switched on. My tray is stained now..there's like greasy stuff on it. Any ideas on how to remove it?

Answers:
Have you tried oven cleaner? Since you didn't say what the tray is made of, I don't really know what to say to you. You could also try letting it soak in a baking soda and water mixture. Vinegar is also another choice. Without know what it's made of or if there's any artwork on it, that's the best I can do for you.

Try a paste made of baking soad and lemon juice, let it sit and see how that works
This has happened to me a lot.
Step 1: grab your pan
Step 2: walk to the garbage can
Step 3: place tray in can
Step 4: go to store and buy a new one for $2
Dawn dish washing liquid and very hot water might get it off. Good luck!
