Can I shrink my clothes by ironing them?

Question:Can I use an iron to shrink the bottom of my shirts. I tried stretching them out, but now they are too long.

Answers:
No, ironing will not shrink - not even with the steam.

Try throwing the item back in the dryer with a wet towel - or better yet, rewash and try again...depending on the type of fabric, it may work.

The only way you can shrink clothes is by washing them in hot water
You can put them on a higher Temp in the wash, also you can put them in the dryer, make keep checking on them, otherwise they might shrink to much
