Is there anyway to disinfect or sanatize my carpets without hiring a steam cleaning service?

Question:Any advice would be great, I have a little one that is crawling now and want everything to be as clean as possible. Thanks.

You can usually rent a steam cleaner from the gocery store, drug strore and discount stores. They have a cleaning solution that you will have to purchase, but between that and the steam it will be pretty clean, if you still aren't sure buy some lysol and get to spraying, just be careful not to spray too close to the carpet so that you don't have spots.
