Won't come off!?
Question:I have a very stubborn stain that wont come off. Its on my white cotton jacket. It’s a brown stain. I think I might be poop because I was holding a baby, and his diaper leaked. It’s a little stain, but bugs me so much. I tried many things.
-bleach
-tide-to-go
-Clorox bleach pen
-stain sticks
-surf
apparently its coming off, and I have to wear it soon. ( my new one is in the mail its going to take a while coming) If you have any suggestions about how I can get the stain out please let me know. Thank you.
Answers:
Try some lye soap. I know I took some blood stains out of a few items with it. You should be able to buy it from any hardware store. Just rub it on the spot (after you wet it) and get a lather, then rinse and repeat as much as needed.
Well.you can try dish washing detergent...the powder. That works on some things.
WD-40 works on a lot of things too.
Dawn dish detergent.
Hydrogen Peroxide (because it is fairly oxygen-rich).
Maybe one of these will work for you.
Soak in cold water , rub in some natural soap. leave the soap on and the shirt free from water for about 1/2 hr, back to the cold water, rinse a little, Now rub in more soap, pop into your washing machine on a 40ºc wash. Hang outside in the sun , any remaining stain after washing this way, will be bleached out by the sun
Try dawn liquid detergent. Let it sit for a while before washing.
Use a degreaser like one called something like.k409 or similar.
hydrogen peroxide spot treatment. Then wash normally.
use octagen bar soap available in your local grocery or hardware store wet area and rub in soap. then scrub and rub some should remove the stain. You can also try detergents specially fomulated for baby clothes you'll be surprised by what it can take out.
Try Oxyclean or Borax.
