Who has a Kirby vacuum?
Question:Is there any ideas on how to add an air freshner to my kirby to make the house smell yummy?
My mom used to put carpet freshner in her vaccume bag to make our house smell good.

I have a Kirby generation 3,it's over 15yrs old. I know mine smells from time to time, so I just put a little bit of carpet fresh down and vacuum it up. So the next time you use it,it does smell a lot better.=)
we have a Kirby. just get a plug in air freshner for your house. that would work so much better!
We have a kirby that is at least 25 yrs old, in excellent condition. We use the shop vac to vacuum out the outer (cloth) bag when we change the dust bag (if you have a kirby I think you know what I mean). We also make sure the roller head is free of string & hair wrapped around it - we use scissors to cut off anything that is wrapped around it. I know waht you mean about a smell - but keeping the vac clean works pretty well.
We moved into our current house 5 years ago - it has a good quality central vac. system. I like the 25 year old kirby better..
