See if i dye a pinkish jacket black would it come out black it is %100 cotton and @100 polyester?

Question:

Answers:
How can it be both 100% cotton AND 100% polyester? It probably will not take full dye because polyester is difficult to change the color of. If it is 100% cotton, you can get satisfactory results, but may need to dye it twice. The threads the garment is stitched with may not take the color though because most garments are sewn with polyester threads. The buttons will need to be changed too then.

if it is 100% cotton you may wind up with a strange kind of black color but i would never put it in with the rest of my laundry. if it is 100% polyester you won't be able to dye it at all.
Yes. Cotton takes dye very well (ever got a read sock mixed in with your white ones?), and black will cover over a light color.
