How can I get rid of blue tack stains on a painted wall?

Question:It looks oily. I've tried hot water and a flannel to no effect. I'm due to finish my tenancy and need to get rid of these stains. Thanks!

Answers:
Try this, very inexpensive and easy. Make a paste using a little dishwasher detergent powder and warm water. Using a rag, rub it onto the stain. Wipe off with a damp towel. Did it work? If it didn't, you may need to put some primer over it and repaint. (The primer will control it from bleeding through.)

use magic eraser buy at wall mart
Try goo gone available at local hardware stores removes just about anything.
if you have a matte finish wall paint the oil from the tack will NOT come off without you wiping the paint off i'm sorry you'll have to paint it.
Repaint.
Try toothpaste and a toothbrush. I know it takes out waxy crayon stains on anything (walls, tv's, wood, etc.) It doesn't cost anything to buy so why not try it! Good luck!
