How do u get the stink out of shoes that u can't wash?
Question:Well maybe u can wash them, but i prefer not to.(leather $140)
Answers:
Place in the sun for a day or two or sprinkle baking soda in them.
Leather shoes usually will not hold odor, usually only vinyl does. Maybe they are vinyl lined. I usually wash my leather shoes and air dry.
odor eaters
contact the guy from dragon den program he has invented something you actually put on shoes and removes all bad smell.
Maybe use some medicated foot powder in them to kill the germs that cause the odor.
frebreeze
febreeze, then odor eaters to prevent it again.
You can sprinkle them with baking soda, leave it in over night, shake it out, them wipe it out with a damp rag. You can put dryer sheets in them. I think they sell shoe spray for odor--maybe in a Dr. Scholl's display? I've heard it is a good idea to wear the same pair of shoes no more often than every other day. It gives them time to air out. Some study a few years back proved that 2 pairs of shoes worn
on alternate days lasted longer than 3 pairs worn one pair at a time, every day. Good Luck!
Put baking soda in them overnight to absorb the current odor. Spray a bit of underarm deodorant in them before wearing to prevent it from getting too bad in the future.
You can use Febreeze, or OdoBan. OdoBan is a lot stronger.
If your shoes are delicate leather or suede, make sure that you cover the outside of the shoe with a cloth or paper towel while you are spraying the inside.
Put them in a grocery bag (or something to keep them off food) and place them in the freezer for a couple of days. The cold will kill the bacteria that causes the odor.
tip a capfull of detol in them and let it soak in and dry.
