Remove grease spots from leather?

Question:

Answers:
This depends on what type of leather you have.

If you have an aniline style leather (one that absorbs moisture readily) then the stain will be permanent as the grease will have soaked in. Cleaning and protecting may help them dissipate over time.

If you have a pigmented suite (one with a coated surface) the spots should come off by using a good quality foam cleaner (Strong or Maxi cleaner). Follow this with a good Leather Protector which will help inhibit dirt and body oils from penetrating the leather.

If your leather is suede or Nubuck the grease will have soaked in and will be almost impossible to remove.

water and soap helps i do it all the time
The soap & water suggestion is only for smooth leather. Don't try it on suede. If suede, then let me know & I'll walk you through it.
