How do I clean windows so they don't streak?

I have tried numerous products because this is a pet peeve for me--this is what I have found to work best for me--I use approximately a 50/50 mix of white vinegar and water and I add just a few drops of dawn dishsoap. I use newspapers to clean with and avoid washing the windows when the sun is shining directly on them. Hope this works for you. Good Luck.
Use windex and newpapers. Spray on the windex and wipe off with a wadded up sheet of newsprint. Clean windows; no streaks.
Alcohol and newspaper. Sounds stupid, but it works.
Vinegar and newspaper. Vinegar has been proven to kill germs as well as bleach without the nasty chemical consequences and it also cuts grease.
The best product I've found is "Perfect Glass". I bought it at Bed, Bath and Beyond.
Try vinegar and newspaper. You just take a cloth dipped in vinegar diluted with water and do as you would when washing the window. Take newspaper and dry it off. Works wonders.
I can suggest this, first never clean your window´s when the sun is shining on them. The best way I find is the good old fashioned way. News paper and vinegar, soak the paper and wipe, use another dry piece to dry , then a cloth to shine. wear gloves so you won´t get the dye from the news paper on your hands, The good thing about using the news paper is it leaves no streaks
mix a solution of vinegar and water, wash window with solution, then with a clean lint free cloth polish. Comes up brill and no smears
