Clothes and dampness?

Question:If clothes are a little damp after they have been dried off from the dryer - is it ok?

I mean they are only a little damp - i swear they smell ok - but it dont smell as fresh as the other clothes.

Do you still think they are clean?

I mean i dont want to keep hurting the environment and wasting my time and money, esp when i am gonna clean them again...hmmmm

Thanks in advance. Peace

Answers:
Let them dry completely - hang them up in your garage if you dont want to put them back in the dryer. If they are put away slightly damp they get a musty, mildewy smell to them where you will have to wash them again and they will smell up the rest of your clothes.

Just hang them up in a warm airy place for a while.
Just let them air dry overnight before putting them away and they should be fine.
yes they are clean you just need to dry them for longer or set to a higher heat setting
If they are a little bit damp - it's fine as long as you let the clothes air dry. Hang 'em up, put each item on or over a clean surface to dry completely. If you don't let the stuff air dry and put stuff in a closet or drawer, they will mildew and smell.
If they are hung on hangers, their fine, however if you're going to fold them up and put away, be sure they are dry.
hang 'em up to dry away from other things and plenty of room for air to circulate
If the dryer is not drying completely and the load is not to much, check below the lint trap and see if it is clear. run a vacuum in it anyway just to make sure. Also the duct going outside should be replaced once a year, I just clean mine out. I think they only cost about 8 bucks but I am cheap. Then check the vent outside and make sure i is clear of obstruction. While you have the screen for the lint catch out, run it under water. If the water passes straight through your good. If it pools a little on top it needs cleaned. The fabric softener is a little sticky and it plugs the holes though you can not see it, its there. It can reduce your drying by 10-25%.
Good luck.

By the way the slight oder, you might want to run a empty load with bleach in your washer.
Yes they are clean. You need to hang them up to air them before putting them away.
