Try renting a carpet shampooer and use a commercial-strength cleaner on the area. At any rate I love shampooers because they extract much of the dirty cleaning solution, rather than it drying in the carpet or pad. I have a Bissell Little Green at home and it gets out everything!
Don't try bleach as it may oxidize the stain to a wierd yellow color and/or damage your carpet.
It has oil in it so you need a de-greaser. Try Goo-gone or DeSolVit or even WD40 lubricant. I've used them all on fabrics, upholstery and carpets. Be sure to rub with a white washcloth or towel. Don't use colored fabrics to clean stains. Good luck.
Try nail polish remover...
With a little cold water soak the stain, then with a small drop of your dish washing detergent add to the stain. Rub in with your finger tips, use a cold water sponge to lift the soap. and the stain should come out. Try and work inwards of the stain , this way you will stop it from spreading further
