Name for a laundr-o-mat? which is better?
Question:which is better for the name of a laundromat:
soap n suds laundromat
or
the soap box
Answers:
the soap box
and on the sign i'd have a wooden box with a bar of ivory soap sticking out of it and bubbles everywhere!
soap n suds laundromat
The soap box.
But how about spin-o-rama.
I like the soap box better.
I like the soap box
I like Soap n Suds Good Luck
the soap box.
soap box.
how about Git-R-Clean Coin Laundry
Wash and Dry
the soap box is to cutsie. cutsie is not good in business. So soap and suds is better but still not the best.
How about adding a DESCRIPTIVE word to your choices?
I favor SENSATIONAL SOAP 'N SUDS to make your business name *stand out* and to give the name a verbal-plosive to help your clients to better remember you.
*Think VISUALLY so to give your business a "mental picture."
Soap box is easier to remember, but doesn't necessarily convey what the business is. Soap 'n Suds makes the business clear, but is kind of cliche. Any other ideas? May be hokey, but how about The Stain Drain? (this is why I don't make my living making up business names)
There was a laundromat (may still be) near where I grew up - I don't remember if it even had a name, it was in Kaisertown in Buffalo NY, but it had a BIG sign on the front saying it was open 26 hours a day. No name necessary, it was just called the 26-hour laundry and everyone knew right where it was.
The soap box.
The soap box is better I think.
Or how about the sudsy soap box?
Go with the soap box. It's catchy and that will make people remember it. Good luck with the business
