How do I get rid of hard water deposits on the inside of dishwasher?

Question:They build up all over the round thing in the bottom of the dishwasher...they are white and grayish. Sometimes I think it affects the dishwasher's ability to clean my dishes well.

Answers:
OK this is going to sound ridiculous but i swear it works...take a package of lemonade kool aid and dump it in there you will be amazed

Vinegar works really well for hard water deposits on everything. Also, you can get dishwasher cleaner in the grocery store where you get the detergent. Also, you may have to take the grates out and clean or soak them with vinegar and baking soda. I usually try to do this once each month or every 6 weeks. Otherwise, you end up with bad spots and dirt in your clean dishes.
Also, try using Jet Dry, it really does stop the spots on glass.
Get some Lime-A-way. It comes in a green bottle. Squirt of of that in the dishwasher, get a scrubbing pad, and it comes right off. Takes a little work, but it does wonders.
wash it with dilute HCL for an hour
i wish i could help u i have they same hard water to and in my toilet to .
Pure vinegar works great and is dirt cheap.
I used CLR on my bath tub for the hard water and scum stains it took some scrubbing but it worked very well.
