Question:Dollar stores are selling several brands of tooth paste and cough syrup from China that contain a poison that is used to make anti-freeze. Please look at your tooth paste and cough syrup, if they are made in China, you can report any adverse reactions or problems to the FDA's Med Watch at 1-800-332-1088. The following names are the only ones that have been identified at this time

Please check any purchases from any Dollar store, if they are imported from China, then dispose of them. First make sure that no one in your house hold has used them

Perhaps this should be a lesson to never by a product to be ingested at the dollar store. You cannot trust the source.
The solution is simple. Don't buy imported health products made in China or India. The FDA does not have enough personnel or budget to test everything that comes into this country so it's pretty much Buyer Beware!
