Question about dust on laminate flooring?
Question:how do u keep the dust down on this stuff we have cherry laminate and the dirt and dust shows up bad!!

I use a dust mop on my dark rustic laminate between weekly cleanings. I don't know if my method would be good for your cherry floors or not (we chose the rustic for a good reason.kids and grandkids).
I use a spray bottle filled with water and spritz my dust mop just once. Then I run the mop lightly around the house to pick up the dust and any loose dirt we track in. So far I have not had a problem with streaks because I don't wet the dust mop enough to leave any water on the floor. Good luck!

The cherry colour is beautiful, but the darker the wood finish, the more it will show dust. Try keeping the windows and doors closed and remove any nearby carpet. Carpets should be vac'd every 2nd day. Try dry Swiffering the laminate every 2 days and use a 12" wide terry cloth flat mop with only water once a week. This will at least keep the floor looking nice.
