What do I use to remove water spots?

Question:I have water spots/stains on the clear glass of my shower door and black mildew spots in the crevices/corners of the shower where the tile and grout are. They won't come off! What should I use to remove it?

Answers:
It is probably lime build up or soap build up. I suggest CLR it works great for calcium and lime build up. Also, there is a product called the Works that is excellent for mildew. Hope this helps.

Sounds like hard water. Try vinegar and water or maybe the commercial product CLR.
Vinegar. The higher the acidity the better. I have sucess in the past with glass cleaner (professional grade) but I think vinegar is the best.
For the black mildew spots, pour full strength bleach, starting at the top and let it run down. Don't rinse until the black is gone. If it's fairly recent mildew, it will dissolve. Be sure to ventilate the room well until you rinse.
