What is the best way to clean an aga?
Question:I have inherited an aga in a house move and it is filthy on the outside with a build up of 'grease'! (the inside is fine) what is the best cleaner to use for it? are the specialist 'aga' cleaners worth buying?

hard work and elbow grease is the way foreward
Normally on the inside and the top you can use a wire brush.
As for the outside enamel ... you need to ask in your nearest Aga-Rayburn shop ... or check the links below.

Spray with oven cleaner when cold. Leave overnight and wash off in the morning.
