Anyone have a home remedy to remove wall paint from clothing?

if its oil based paint, turpintine will remove it. If its emulsion paint and dried on, there is nothing at all that will remove it, so I have been told by paint manufacturers

I havn't really found anything that works too well, paint thinner tends to leave marks. With some materials it is possible to use liquid laundry soap and a toothbrush to remove the paint. Apply the soap then scrub with the toothbrush in the direction of the material's grain.
If the fabric is cotton or another type of natural fiber, you might be able to use acetone (finger nail polish remover is the same thing, but weaker.) Test a small area to make sure that it does not destroy the fabric.
