What's the best way to get gum off the bottom of your shoe?

You could use almost any oil based product, my favorite is Disolve-It, $3 at Wal-Mart and a must have in everybody's cleaning closet. Just saturate the area, let set, then wipe off. But rubbing an ice cube over it till it becomes hard makes it easy to pick off too. I really hate stepping in gum!

Throw shoe into freezer for a half hour, break off with a putty knife.
with stick or paper towel..That was a dumb question...although i answered it....
scrape it off with a penny.
Liquid nitrogen.Or a razor blade and rubbing alcohol...
Rub an ice cube over the gum and it will come off easily with a knife.
Try freezing it with some ice.
The best way to remove gum from anything is with peanut butter. I know that sounds strange, but it really works. If you scrape off all you can, then rub some peanut butter on it the rest of it will wipe right off.
Pull off as much as you can then spray WD40 to take off the last residue. Liquid Nitrogen, Dr. Bob? I loved that suff when I was a kid but does anyone have it laying around the house? My Dad worked with chemicals and brought it home for us to use for science projects. Cool stuff.
lighter fluid...really!
Goo gone! That stuff will gum off of anything. Spray it on and let sit for a few minutes and then scrape off. If only a layer or two comes off at first just repeat the process. I have to use it to get gum off my hardwood floors all the time. My 4 boys manage to get it in the weirdest places. lol.
Good luck!
