Question:i moved into the apartment that had the stove, it has black stained around the burners, like somthing has boiled over and was not wiped off, then re-cooked on, i have scrubbed, and also bought cerama bryte cooktop cleaner and cant get the stains off, is there anyone with the same problem and can they please give, me a solution

Answers:
there is a product called "cooktop magic" that works really well. use it with a plastic scouring pad.

there is this stuff that is used on glass fireplace doors, it cleans those really good and it's not supposed to scratch the surface. try that but wash the area really good after! this stuff takes off soot and fire burns on the glass, so it should work.
i use vinegar and baking soda on mine with a tile scraper.
