Suggest good Washing Machine ie.most efficient1)semi or fully automatic 2)top or front loading 3)best brand?
Question:I live in bombay- India,please suggest a good washing machine keeping in mind the following criteria) 1) front loading/ top loading washing m/c( pros & cons of both the above 2 diff varieties. 2) should one purchase / go for, a semi automatic m/c or a fully automatic m/c, please mention the pros & cons keeping in mind both of 2 varieties. 3) which brand is the best ie. a) IFB license BOSCH (GERMANY) b) L.G c) SAMSUNG d)WIPRO e) WHIRLPOOL(american) f)VIDEOCON
g) GODREJ h) OTHERS.
Which of the washing m/c requires a) less maintanance , b)runs for longer number of years ie. many yrs, non stop, without requiring, almost no maintainance at all. c)which of the washing m/c ie. semi/fully automatic or front/ top loading causes less wear & tear? is most efiicient?

of the ones you listed prolly the bosch front loader.
1. Front loaders use less water and are the most popular right now
2. I would get the automatic, I am basically lazy.
3. I have heard nothing but good things about BOCSH(never had one though) & I have used whirlpools and never had any problems with mine.
As far as being energy efficient, they all are. They have to meet industry standards.
go with the BOSCH. They are good machines.
Samsung. I am using this. I think its quite efficient.

Since you live in Bombay your best bet would be to go to Next, Vijay Sales, Kohinoor or even Big Bazaar. They all have a wide range of washing machines to suit all budgets and the salesmen will patiently clarify all your options. We have bought washing machines and other big and small appliances from Next and Vijay Sales over the years, and are perfectly satisfied with our purchases.
I would personally go with IFB and Whirpool.Have used front loaders in both with great satisfaction.they use less water,a big bonus in India and are very gentle on clothes.I have had my clothes,especially t shirts going out of shape when i washed them in a top loading BPL.Also seams would come undone in it....also an extra plus from a woman's point of view is the flat top of these front loading machines.You can handily keep ur washing powder,fabric softener etc on top. and oh yes both are great work horses needing little or no maintenance.
I'll suggest u don't go for any multi national brand. They are of no use after some days.
The prime aim is to clean yr clothes using less electricity, water, noise and in less time.ok?
