Any home remedies to rid flies? We go thru this every spring/summer.?

A great remedy is peppermint oil...the peppermint you get to flavor your cakes at the grocery market.also orange oil...spread a line around your picinic table or doors and they wont land..I spray it on sponges and wipe down my tables and rims of bowls, it is edible and gives off a great smell, but flys hate it...I spray around the doors where they usually come in and dont have any problems with them anymore...hope it helps.

The pepermint oil is a good one, that is if its not the dead body in the basement. Then the oil won't help. But if you know there's no dead body anywhere, the oil is the way to go.
