How do you get vasaline out of fabric?
Question:My son got vasaline on my brand new down comforter that is red. Any suggestions
Answers:
dish soap
spirit
wash it a couple of time...but put spray and wash on it!
I have a suggestion that works on taking candle wax off of bedspreads. Since vaseline has a similar texture it may work on that also. You take a brown grocery bag (you know the old ones you used to get without handles), lay it ontop of spot on the fabric, and then press a hot iron down onto the bag. Hold it there firmly and move it around. It should pull the vasaline up off of the comforter and onto the bag. Hope it works!
try u'r laundry detergent strait on... let it soak. If it's powder then make a paste. damp it then put it on. U can also try DAWN dish soap b/c it's s'pose to b for grease...
also... Spot Shot... it has worked so far for everything for me.. including greasy hair oil on pillow covers.
