How do you get white towels that have build up, white again? (naturally would be good)?
Question:
Answers:
Wash them and add 1/2 cup borax- a natural mineral compound. It disinfects, safely bleaches, and boosts the cleaning power of your detergent.
Try adding a cup of borax to thewash. use detergent as usual.
When washing them, do so in hot water then put them through the rinse cycle twice. Towels can hang on to some detergent and cause them to get grungier faster. You can add a cup of bleach to the wash cycle too. Do not use fabric softeners on towels, although it makes them softer, they do not absorbe as well and this too can cause them to get grungier faster.
get a good degreaser and bleach and hot water
You can try putting 1/2 cup of vinegar in the load of laundry. Of you can go to the Dollar General and buy Awesome and put some in your laundry.
add 1/2cup of ammonia to hot water wash instead of laundry detergent-rinse well-even twice without adding fabric softener(softener or dryer sheets adds a film to cut static, it also makes towels less absorbent)-then hang in sun to dry-sun will naturally bleach them whiter again
good luck!
