My little boy puked on my pashmina shawl - any advice on how to clean it at home or do I need to dry clean?

try follow these directions:
Use lukewarm water.
Wash with baby shampoo or a ph-neutral detergent like Tide Liquid or Ivory Snow.
Squeeze suds gently through the garment.
Never rub or twist.
Rinse thoroughly, several times.
Dry naturally on flat towel - not in direct sunlight or heat.
Smooth out garment to original shape and size.
i would just rinse it in cold water really good. then let it soak in the sink in cold water and 1/4 cup of baking soda for at least 15 minutes then rinse. fill your sink again adding a tablespoon of very mild soap woolite if you have if not then use baby shampoo or something similar. gently wash then rinse. to dry take a big towel lay it on the floor put your shawl on it then put another towel on top. try to keep the colors of the towel close to the color of your shawl just in case. walk on the towel to get excess water out then let your shawl drip dry. do not i repeat do not put it in the dryer. good luck.
