I bought a wooden (turned) bowl at a yard sale how do I clean it and then keep it looking good and lasting ?

Question:Do I coat it with olive oil to seal it /how do I wash it before we use it?The out side was painted a ugly green so I removed the paint but what do I do about the inside linseen oil?

Hi, wipe it out with mild soap and water. Try not to submerge it in water though. Than use a FDA approved oil. Cutting board oil in what is normally used. Don't use olive oil, or cooking oil, it can go rancid. Only use the cutting board oil. Bye
